A party at San Francisco’s Couchsurfing Headquarters helped me live my surfing experience to the fullest. Read on to find out about what happened last month in San Francisco. 
Couchsurfing isn’t only an amazing social network connecting like-minded people who help each other live a unique travelling experience. It’s also a full-on fun Silicon Valley-style expanding company.
I visited the CS headquarters in San Fran’s Potrero Hill on Tuesday, October 28th. Here, I was greeted with a t-shirts and a wristbands.
Entering the HQ of the company that allowed me to make my dream of travelling across the United States come true was exciting and unique. The office follows the trend of most Silicon Valley workplaces, with a fun, traveller twist: pictures of hosts and couchsurfers on the walls, swings, beach umbrellas, dogs and bean bags. 
I spoke to some of the company’s employees about an exciting future for CS, a young, expanding company. On top of that, I was invited to a CS event connecting San Francisco hosts, where one of the company’s employees made a wonderful peanut butter mousse that left all the guests asking for more.

Il mio viaggio in America tramite Couchsurfing non sarebbe stato completo senza una capatina al quartier generale dell’azienda. Leggete qui per scoprire cosa é successo Martedì 28 Ottobre!
Couchsurfing non é solo un social network che mette insieme persone con idee ed opinioni in comune per far trascorrere loro delle vacanze uniche. É anche un’azienda in crescita con uno spirito in stile Silicon Valley.
Son passata al quartier generale sulla Potrero Hill di San Francisco, dove ogni couchsurfer viene accolto con magliette e bracciali gratis. Ho parlato delle interessanti prospettive future dell’azienda con alcuni impiegati di CS.
Visitare l’ufficio dell’azienda che mi ha permesso di realizzare il mio sogno di vedere gli Stati Uniti low-cost é stato eccitante e surreale. Il quartier generale unisce lo stile Silicon Valley all’amore per i viaggi. Ci sono foto di couchsurfer su tutti i muri, altalene, divani, cani e ombrelloni da mare.
Sono stata invitata alla festa programmata per la sera stessa per fare incontrare i couchsurfer della cittá e mi é stato chiesto di partecipare al video dell’azienda che trovate qui sopra. Abbiamo mangiato i dolci preparati da alcuni impiegati e conosciuto alcuni tra i couchsurfer piú interessanti del mio viaggio.
In piú, gli impiegati di CS mi hanno aiutata a trovare una sistemazione per i giorni in cui non ero coperta. Insomma, che aspettate? Se siete a San Fran fate un salto in una delle aziende piú interessanti che ci siano!
