The Dead Dolls House‘s just-launched venue in Islington has a new menu and I had to try it.
Sunday at the new Dead Dolls House means jazz with Peter Horsfall and a lush, massive plate of Sunday Roast. The options are many, but I went for the parsnip, apple and hazelnut wellington with duck fat roasties and granny smith puree, all served with a monster-size tasty Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables, for £13. Needless to say it left me full and damn happy. Great food accompanied by a classy soundtrack: what’s better than that you say?
There is something better, indeed. The House has a new permanent member: a fluffy dog that loves a cuddle. I am not leaving this place. Ever. Again.Â
