Everything I knew about Wapping was that it’s where Rupert Murdoch’s News International is based, the result of pages and pages of essays on the history of British journalism during my BA at City. Turns out it’s a lovely place for a stroll in the sun… And the home of Ian McKellen’s pub The Grapes and an Italian restaurant called “La Figa” (the Italian word for pussy). Definitely a fun place to visit.

Tutto quello che sapevo di Wapping, tra Canary Wharf e East Central London, era che è la sede di News International, la compagnia mediatica di Rupert Murdoch, studiata così tanto durante il mio corso di giornalismo alla City University. Wapping però è un quartiere familiare perfetto per una passeggiata al sole. Ed è anche la sede del pub pub The Grapes di “Gandalf” Ian McKellen e del ristorante Italiano La Figa. Da visitare!
