You have two weekends left to drink in one of London’s coolest bars… No pressure

If you haven’t yet been to my favourite London bar/restaurant, The Dead Dolls House in Hoxton Square, your time is running out. The team behind the House, the Dead Dolls Club, announced today it will be closing down to move on to two different locations.

The Dead Dolls House is The Dead Dolls Club’s second pop-up. Starting in a small Dalston venue in 2012, The Dead Dolls Club went big and moved to 35 Hoxton Square, a three-storey building that hosted countless cool parties and pop-up dinners.

From Halloween nights to a New Orleans style po’ boy pop-up, from Korean burgers to meat pies, the House has been my go-to bar to celebrate the end of my dissertation, graduation or, to be honest, just for the best nights in London.

With its in-house restaurant, The Pearl, the Dead Dolls House also hosted the team behind the best chicken ever, Check On Presents, who initially ran a Sunday roast pop-up there.

The Dead Dolls Club announced the closure today with a post on their website, on Facebook and Twitter. They said: “After our initial 6-month pop up extended it’s self to 18 months we are sad to announce that we have been forced to move in 2 weeks.”

But don’t worry: the Dead Dolls fun isn’t over. According to Adam Towner, the owner, there are two new homes ready to host all the fun: the first, not too far from Hoxton, opens on February 18th, while the second, in Peckham, opens in March.

Plus, this weekend and the next members will have a last chance to party with “DJ’s and live music until 3am” . And The Arch in Bethnal Green is always open.

E The Arch a Bethnal Green è ancora aperto.
